Clinical Day 13
The past few weeks have been kinda uneventful. We were able to perform a lot procedures the first few weeks, but then that stopped. Yesterday and today dragged, BIG TIME. I guess I’m just anxious to start at an acute facility already. Only 3 1/2 more weeks!!

I did a G-tube feeding yesterday! It was pretty cool. I also watched the charge nurse put in a foley catheter as a temporary g-tube. Now that was awesome to observe! Yesterday and today went by pretty fast, which I guess is a good thing.
P.S. I do NOT like PIE charting.

Clinical Day 5
Today was quite uneventful. Didn’t know we are not allowed to do accu-cheks by ourselves, oops! I mean there so easy, all you do is poke a finger and put the spot of blood on the stick! Why do we need an instructor there to babysit us on the simplest things? Oh well, it’s a learning process. Rules are meant to be followed.
